“Had a plan AND morning confirmation with [another junk remover] and they canceled last minute, an hour before. I was in a bind, and I called & texted the folks at JunkRabbit. They were fast, courteous and available on short notice.”

Appliance Removal in Cincinnati
A dead chest freezer at the bottom of a basement stair is the classic Cincinnati appliance job — heavy, awkward and nowhere near the curb. We carry it up and away at a flat price: a refrigerator is $164, a chest freezer $146, a tank water heater $131.
In Northern Kentucky and Lawrenceburg, curbside crews want a technician’s Freon sticker or tag first. We don’t.

Curbside Appliance Rules by Area
City of Cincinnati
The bulk program does take refrigerators, freezers, stoves, washers, dryers and water heaters — by appointment, five items at a time, at the curb.
Newport and Rumpke Areas
A fridge or freezer goes curbside only after a certified technician removes the refrigerant and attaches a sticker or statement.
Lawrenceburg, Indiana
Items with Freon must carry a tag from a licensed company confirming the refrigerant is out before the City Garage takes them.
Everywhere Else
Townships and suburbs set their own rules. Rather than guess, we just take the appliance from wherever it stands.
Before the Crew Arrives
Empty and unplug it first. Shut the water off to an ice maker, and have a licensed tech or your plumber disconnect gas ranges and water heaters.
Our crews carry appliances out; they don’t install or re-plumb. Everything else — the stairs, the dolly work, the recycling run — is on us.
