Where Old TVs End Up
A flat screen is light enough to shove in a closet and too awkward to carry to the curb, so old sets pile up in basements and spare rooms. Batteries are excluded from both the City’s bulk program and Rumpke’s curbside service, which doesn’t help with remotes and speakers.
We carry the screens out and route them to electronics recyclers, which recover the metals, circuit boards and glass instead of burying them.
